Romance Fiction Mailed to You as Real Personalized Letters

There is something about a good romance story that other genres can't quite replicate. The slow build of tension, the moment everything almost falls apart, the feeling of being completely inside someone else's emotional world. Romance readers know this feeling well, and they tend to be loyal to it.

What I wanted to do with Fiction Mail was take that feeling and deliver it in the most personal way possible: as real, physical letters that arrive in your mailbox one at a time.

What Is Fiction Mail?

If you haven't heard of Fiction Mail before, here's how it works.

You choose a series, tell us the recipient's name (your own or your gift recipient's), and we mail the letters one by one, each week, over the course of the series.

Every letter is written as if it came directly from the story's narrator, with your name

woven naturally into the narrative throughout. Not just at the top — throughout.

The letters are printed in a custom handwriting font modeled after real penmanship, so they look and feel like something a real person wrote just for you.

Each letter arrives in a Kraft envelope. No screens, no apps, just fun fiction. And, there's no subscription. You pay once for the series and the letters start arriving.

Romance Fiction Delivered as Personalized Letters

We have series in mystery, thriller, historical fiction, paranormal, and more. But one genre has been missing from our catalog since day one: romance.

That changes now.

I'm thrilled to introduce Lowcountry, Fiction Mail's first-ever romance series, written by Libby Ann.

Libby Ann writes Southern coastal fiction about complicated women and the kind of second chances that only come when you're brave enough to tell the truth. Her work is set against the sunlit shores and salt-air streets of the Lowcountry, and that sense of place comes through in every letter she writes.

The Lowcountry Series: A Romance Story Told Through Letters

In Lowcountry, Maggie's first love returns to the Southern coast to open a restaurant after many years away.

She tells herself she just wants closure.

She doesn't get it.

Over eight weekly letters, Maggie writes to you as she navigates the pull of a love she never fully let go of, a fiancé who adores her completely, and the growing realization that she can't keep living in both worlds. It's the kind of story that stays with you between letters, which is exactly the point.

If you've been waiting for a romance series you can hold in your hands, this is it. You can learn more about the Lowcountry series here.
