The Best Snail Mail Subscription (Except It's Not a Subscription)
If you've been searching for a snail mail subscription, you already know something most people have forgotten: there's nothing quite like finding a real letter in your mailbox. Not a bill, not a catalog, but an actual letter written to you.
The trouble with most snail mail subscriptions is that they charge you month after month, you never quite know what you'll get, and sooner or later you have to remember to cancel.
Fiction Mail works differently. You choose a story, pay once, and we mail it to you as a series of real, personalized letters over several weeks or months. When the last letter is mailed, the story is complete. No recurring charges, no auto-renewals, and nothing to cancel.
A Snail Mail Subscription That Tells a Story
Most letter subscriptions send stationery, pen pal matches, or general-interest letters. Fiction Mail is built around a single idea: what if a fictional character wrote to you every week or month, pulling you deeper into their story one letter at a time?
Each series is a complete piece of fiction, from a whodunit to a Cold War spy story to a time traveler's reports from history. The story unfolds a little more with every trip to the mailbox, and there's no skipping ahead. You have to wait for the next letter, just like the old days.
What Makes These Letters Feel Real
Every letter is designed to feel like it came from a real person, not a printing press:
- Your name is woven into the story, not just printed at the top. The letter writer talks to you the way a friend would.
- A realistic handwriting font modeled on real penmanship.
- Personalized letterhead unique to each series.
- The current date on every letter, so each one feels freshly written.
- Kraft envelopes, so even the outside of the letter feels like part of the story.

"I've gotten this 2 years in a row for my elderly mom. She's gotten so much joy out of it and I'm so thankful. It gives her something to look forward to and keeps her mind engaged with the stories."

How Fiction Mail Works
- Pick a story. Choose from mysteries, thrillers, historical fiction, fantasy, romance, and nostalgia.
- Pick the length. 4 weekly letters, 8 weekly letters, 12 monthly letters for a full year, or a bundle of 20, 40, or 52 weekly letters.
- Pick the date. Choose the exact date we mail the first letter, whether that's tomorrow or months from now.
- Check the mailbox. The first letter goes out by USPS Priority Mail with tracking, and the rest follow on schedule by First Class stamped mail until the story is finished.
